31st ECA Meeting focusing on KIP preparation and related ExCom decisions including that related to gender mainstreaming in Montreal Protocol projects, 20 June 2023

    This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Simultaneous English – Russian interpretation will be provided. 

    The meeting will focus on KIP preparation and related ExCom decisions including that related to gender mainstreaming in Montreal Protocol projects. We will encourage the exchange of views / experience between participants.  

    The following are the planned agenda items:

    1. Introduction – Mr. Halvart Koeppen, UNEP OzonAction
    2. ExCom decisions related to KIP (funding level, pilot projects on energy-efficiency) – Ms. Liana Ghahramanyan, Armenia
    3. Gender considerations in KIPs and other Montreal Protocol projects – Ms. Sonja Wagner, UNEP OzonAction
    4. UNIDO's workshop on KIP preparation – highlights and key findings – Mr. Adnan Atwa, UNIDO Montreal Protocol Division
    5. Roundtable discussion
