Following UNEP OzonAction’s team welcome and introduction part, Ms.Irene Papst, Heat GmbH on behalf of GIZ Proklima will aware the participants of the ODS/HFC and RAC waste management and financing mechanisms. Top technical expert from AFF and Daikin Mr. Felix Flohr will introduce the Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) as a financial mechanism and thermal decomposition as a replacement for refrigerants incineration. Finally, the participants will have an opportunity to have a round table discussion on the availability of environmental funds in ECA countries, other financial incentives, and disposal options in place, and share the lessons learned and the most serious barriers.
