This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Simultaneous interpretation in English – Russian will be provided.
UNEP OzonAction will briefly present the results of the survey on topics of the forthcoming ECA, and those selected for the scheduled meetings from March – June 2022. During the meeting, the representatives of ECA / CEIT countries will vote whether there will be a summer break during July-August 2022, or whether ECA meetings should be organized during these months.
Experts from the Czech Republic will brief participants on the country’s approach to the management of fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) and share their experience from training programmes for refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) technicians, on fire protection and electrical switch gears. They will explain their approach to recovery, recycling and reclaim of refrigerants. The Ministry of Environment also offers to host a physical meeting in the Czech Republic in autumn 2022, if the Covid-19 situation allows.
Besides the invited experts, participants include Montreal Protocol and RAC experts from ECA / CEIT countries, additional national experts interested in the training on fire protection and electrical switch gears, bilateral partners, partner agencies and secretariats. The agenda items are:
