This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Simultaneous interpretation in English – Russian will be provided.
The first part of the meeting will allow representatives of ECA / CEIT countries to inform about Montreal Protocol related highlights, activities and challenges. This is a continuation from previous meetings.
The second part of the meeting will focus on the planning of ECA network activities in 2022 including topics for the monthly ECA meetings, and the evolving needs of the countries.
During the ECA meeting in February 2022, experts from the Czech Republic will share their experience from training programmes related to refrigeration, fire protection and electrical switch gears, and explain their approach to refrigerant management (recovery, recycling, reclaim). Czech Republic also offers to host a physical meeting if the Covid-19 situation allows.
Besides the invited experts, participants include Montreal Protocol and RAC experts from ECA / CEIT countries, bilateral partners, interested partner agencies and secretariats. The agenda items are:
