12th Europe and Central Asia (ECA) brainstorming meeting on network activities in 2021, 24 February 2021

This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). The network countries discuss their needs for assistance in 2021 in the context of the Covid-19 epidemy. As the funding of OzonAction’s compliance assistance programme (CAP) is earmarked for Article 5 countries, the meeting mainly targeted Article 5 countries. However, CEIT countries were welcomed to participate in ECA network activities which do not require funding or as self-funded participants. Also, colleagues of our partner agencies were most welcomed to join the meeting. The meeting language was English.

The agenda items include:
1) Contingency planning of Fund Secretariat and Ozone Secretariat meetings
2) Overview of possible network activities in 2021
3) Brainstorming and discussion.
